Holding up 11 pounds may not seem like a lot, but the 7 bones and 20 muscles of your neck have to work together in perfect harmony to balance that weight so you to move your head around free of pain. CERVICAL BAND RETRACTION/EXTENSION

Got a better name for this one? I’m all ears. Terrible name aside, this exercise can help strengthen all the very small muscles in the neck. These muscles are loaded with all kinds of nerve endings, so even though they don’t do much big moving, they’re super important for neck stability, pain awareness, and posture.

KARATE KID NECK ROTATION

A much better name! This exercise can be used to both improve neck mobility and strength.
